Madeline Samuels and Sylvia Dunleavy are here to teach Women and Gender Studies. It was originally supposed to be Women's Studies, but after the tragedy of Maddie's nephew's lover's death, they decided that men could have just as much difficulty with their genders as women and expanded the course.
What do you mean, what are their qualifications? They took several courses in Women's Studies at the Junior College, and, hey, they've been women their entire lives! They've got the pre-requisites in spades!
